ABOUT
When all the ideas you use to make sense of the world collapse it can be hellish and force you into drastic action. It’s all part of a natural process, the outcome being less illusion, more connection with what is real and unchanging, and ultimately a blessing.
My collapse sent me to Africa for five years. Alone in a mud hut with only a short-wave radio and a cassette player. I had joined an organisation that was unusual in anyone’s book and was posted overseas. Whatever people say about that group and those involved, and whatever questions I have, I am deeply grateful for that opportunity.
Against the odds we’re still making music together. Given up thinking about time and ‘what ifs’. Time’s an illusion. Things move, that’s about as much as you can say… things change, but we add ‘over time’ to make sense of it all.
Steve and I kept in touch with letters about MK Ultra, Chemtrails, De-population Agendas, false flag terror etc. and I got more and more absorbed in what sounded like emergency broadcasts coming from the U.S which I could only pick up at night when the atmosphere was condusive. I educated myself under Sudanese stars and a mosquito net about who is really running the show. I was there when the planes struck the towers and it soon became clear it was a self-inflicted wound.
It’s a perspective that in different ways is always there in the music. The songs are essentially all about love but significantly also about what prevents us from really loving… the conditioning, the propaganda, the manipulation. And hopefully they are a celebration of the whole experience.
During that time Steve wrote music that appeared on Ideal with Johnny Vegas and worked on the Celebricide project, described by Mr. Nick Cave as ‘a very cool band’.
Gar was in the Tube Rats and was making bio-degradable coffins when I met him. We talked about 9/11 before we talked about music.
Ben’s a great musician who we also met through the growing network of people in Brighton questioning the bullshit served up for our consumption by corrupt spiritual retards.
Iain’s the latest conscript. He makes beautiful art.
